MUBAS students added excitement to a mental health awareness programme by winning a football match against a combined team of university staff and police officers.
The match formed part of activities organised around World Mental Health Day, alongside a solidarity march and a tug-of-war contest.
University leaders highlighted sport as a positive way for students to relieve stress and build stronger relationships with the surrounding community.
Why it matters: Campus activities that combine sport and wellbeing can support students’ mental health while strengthening ties with community partners.
