Music fans are preparing for the Standard Bank Live at Kumbali concert at Kumbali Castle in Lilongwe.
Kenyan singer Bien, formerly part of the popular group Sauti Sol, is expected to perform alongside Malawian artists Driemo, Praise Umali and Maggie Kadrum.
Organisers say the concert will bring international and local talent together while creating opportunities to showcase Malawi’s music industry.
Why it matters: Large concerts give local artists a bigger stage and help Malawi’s creative industry reach wider audiences.
