The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) Choir organised a concert at the ODeL Auditorium to raise money for musical instruments and promote the group’s visibility.
Choir chairperson Harry Banda said the group wants more people to know that it is available for performances at public and private events.
Other campus choirs were expected to participate, alongside musician and lecturer Dr Flemmings Ngwira and artist Romeo.
Why it matters: Campus music groups rely on fundraising and visibility to grow their activities and support student creativity.
